What We Do
HideCycle is a small family business in Fort Wayne, Indiana, working to give high-quality leather a second life. We rescue luxury furniture-grade leather that would otherwise end up in landfills and make it available to hobbyists, crafters, and small-scale makers at affordable prices.
This leather comes from high-end Midwestern boutique furniture - beautiful, supple material with incredible finishes. Instead of letting it go to waste, we're giving these pieces another chance to become something useful.
We're a spare-time operation run by our family, and we're starting small. We already work with and support a local non-profit, and we're in conversations about growing HideCycle into something that can provide employment opportunities for people who face barriers to traditional work - whether that's neurodiversity, addiction recovery, or reintegration from the justice system. There's a real path forward, but it'll take time and a lot of work to get there.
For now, we're focused on connecting quality materials with people who will use them. No hype, no big promises - just good leather that deserves a second chance.
